My Wallet Got a Workout

Soooo... today I bit the bullet and bought an expensive purse. Yes, indeedy I did. None of us in the education field are millionaires, let's be honest.  We didn't exactly pick this career because of the lucrative salary.
You might as well know that I am a habitual buyer of cheap purses. Target (p.s. love it and not dissing in any way shape or form) is usually my purse provider but they always fall apart after a few months!
I had a bad week at school (when is spring break????) and I was looking at my gross purse with cracks in the leather and threads coming off it and I decided enough was enough! Retail therapy here I come!
A Coach outlet store just opened near my house and I bought this bad boy for 50% off!  I had to fight an old lady for it in the clearance section, but it was totally worth it!

Ooooo, ahhhhhh
It makes me happy and every day until Spring break comes I will stare at it lovingly.  I suggest you all do some retail therapy ~ it's very rewarding!  Have a fantabulous rest of your weekend!

P.S. I am not affiliated with Coach nor are they paying me to endorse, I just really like my new purse. Can you dig it?

  1. I love it! I went to a Coach Factory outlet for the first time a month ago and got a purse for 70% off. Now I am on their email list too and they have online sales quite often with even better deals. I hope you get in on those too! I love the purse by the way, and you deserve it!

    1. Thanks Marni! I had no idea about the email list... I will have to check into that, although it sounds a little dangerous for my bank account.

  2. I love the purse! Here's the funny thing: Dillard's was having a nice one day sale....and I took my husband along. Well, I so wanted that purse. He discouraged me from getting it. Long story short: went back to get it and it was gone! Was so upset! Next time, don't listen to the husband!!

    1. That's such a sad story! Next time you should buy whatever your heart desires, haha, he doesn't get a say!

  3. I can completely relate...except my brand of choice is Vera Bradley. I find myself drooling over the newest magaizine often. Although, there is a consignment shop near me that has them for VERY good prices. Here's to better days! :-) Mandy

  6. Hi Heather - sometimes we just have days like that where retail therapy is kinda nice. I give in to Dooney & Burke purses for some reason occasionally. I know when is SPRING BREAK??!! LOl I'm sooo ready.
Have a good rest of your week.

  7. Heather:
I think you were describing MY purse! (Cracked leather, loose threads and all!)

Now I have to check out Coach online... but I always have to try them all out and check the zipper pockets and practice taking imaginary things in and out and check to see if the purse will fall over when you put it down. Yeah... don't ever shop with me.

I just scrolled up and looked at it again. Yep, that's a good one.

    Hooray for you!

In my mind: Spring Break cannot come soon enough!
Hope the rest of the week goes by quickly...

  8. Three years ago for Valentine's Day hubby surprised me with a Coach purse and matching wallet. It was bigger than I would have picked out but I still LOVE it. It looks brand new. It lasts way longer than my Target purse. I had a Dooney and Burke one but was not loving it at all.
