My sister is about to have a baby boy! It's our first baby in the family and I seriously could not be more thrilled. She and her husband are going to be amazing parents and I am so honored to be there for this and be able to help in any way that I can. Aren't babies a miracle? It's amazing to me and something so fantastic and complex it's hard for me to wrap my head around it. I am heading off to DC from Phoenix today to see them!
My Tips and Tricks: I used to get so stressed about making sure I had something to write about or feeling guilty if I hadn't updated the blog a few times a week. Then I realized that no one is superwoman here and that everyone needs to take a break every now and then. It's okay - take a break. No one cares, we care about the blogger, not how many posts she can crank out.
See you all on the east coast! Vrooooooom (that was an airplane sound effect)
Have fun in DC! And congrats to your sister on the new addition! And girl, you're totally right! No one cares if you're not posting on the daily! haha! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love your tips and tricks! It is totally true! I took some time off from blogging because there was just too much going on in my life that I needed to take a little break. Now I am back and loving it! Hope you are enjoying your summer!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about taking time off. I was very much in need of a summer vacation. I rested for about a month and now I am back to planning for this coming year. Congrats on the new addition to your family. How exciting!!!!! Have a safe trip!!!!

Aww! That's so exciting!! My sister had her first baby in March. Unfortunately, we didn't make it down until she was 5 days old, but still such a precious time! Enjoy your time with your family!
