1. Had a delicious meal in my last night in Austin with my parents at Max's Wine Dive. Holy cow deliciousness. We all ordered different stuff so we could try everyone's. I got shrimp and grits with this delicious butter sauce, mmmm heaven!
I've realized I get a little bossy with people I dine with because I never want anyone to get the same thing as me so I can taste as many dishes as possible. Oh you didn't want to share? Apparently not an option when eating with me.
2. Drove home safe and sound! Sad to leave my parents, it always is.

Heyyyyy Arizona!
3. My record player finally came and I am completely in <3. My dad generously gave me some of his records from his collection to try it out. Thanks Dad!
4. My veil came in the mail for the wedding! 134 more days to go!
5. I bought a HUGE watermelon the other day and am trying to find different ways to use. I've eaten it plain, in a watermelon feta salad, and in a watermelon basil mojito. Yummy! Don't mind if I do...
Don't forget to link up to share about your week!
Congrats on your upcoming wedding!! You've gotta tease us with that watermelon mojito, don't ya! It looks delicious!

Thanks Chelsea! :)
DeleteCongratulations about your wedding! Another yummy treat for the watermelon is to puree it in the blender and add it to lemonade (or a Margarita!)
ReplyDeleteHave a great summer!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! I'm your newest follower ~ love your blog and congratulations on your new car!
DeleteSo exciting that you are getting married soon :) I just got married this April and I loved planning! I tried really hard not to get stressed and overwhelmed because I really just wanted to enjoy the process. I hope you are enjoying the process, too! I am impressed that you have your veil already. That was one of the last items I purchased. Mostly because my mom, sister, and I all had different ideas about the length that it should be... I ultimately had to just go with my gut on that one and the week before the wedding purchased one!
ReplyDeleteAn idea for using watermelon... just cube it up and put it in a big pitcher of ice water. It is the most spa-like, calming, refreshing water I have ever sipped! You will love it!
Hey Sarah! I am enjoying wedding planning so far, but I keep having these weird nightmares about the big day so apparently I am not as stress free as I had hoped, haha! Thanks for the idea about the watermelon water, I will have to try it out. :)
DeleteOh yumm! I am already losing appetite over it . Congratulations for your wedding :)
